Supporting and developing academic leadership; community engagement; and wellbeing.

My Story...

My Mum worked as an unparalleled educator in English Literature and my Dad became a Vice-Chancellor – twice! For my part, after graduating from The University of Melbourne in 1997 with a combined honours Arts/Law degree, studying law and literature in France; working as a solicitor (and migration agent); and volunteering in range of community organisations I eventually succumbed to genetics. I have spent the last two decades in... Higher Education mentoring and leadership.  To no-one's great surprise, I absolutely love it. ("And think to yourself, there's no place like home.")
The creativity, intelligence and ethical index of the people I work with in my mentoring service inspires me every day. On the outside it looks like a lot of listening and countless conversations! On the inside, it's about newly perceived realities; and working together in ways we know will really  make a difference.

Sharing the Love....

Every time you engage me in pursuit of your own goals, you are also helping others. In 2020 I have been able to offer reduced rate and pro-bono services to support Educators, Health Workers, and Artists whose disciplines are in a state of flux.  In addition, All Manner of Things continues to offer pro-bono services or financial donations to local organisations working "on the ground" to promote equity, diversity, social inclusion, and violence prevention at the present time, such as:
The Craig Family Centre and The Edge Community Fund
WIRE (The Women’s Information Referral Exchange)

Now, more than ever, I am delighted to support the extraordinary contribution to meditation, art, and the maintenance of long-lived lineages occurring through the dedicated work of digital thangka artist Jampay Dorje through the 11 Yogas of Naropa Project; and to continue to highlight Eva Natanya’s Stillness Retreat. All Manner of Things is also a long-term supporter of the work of Nying Jey Projects.
