"In five short years, Pippa’s coaching has helped me grow from a very green, overwhelmed head of teaching, to a calm and happy Head of school. She brings a winning mix of empathy and pragmatism to her work, helping me to develop my organisational skills, self-care, and confidence to balance my responsibilities, ambition, and well-being. Through Pippa’s guidance I have been able to reconcile my personal, professional, and family goals, and can now coach others to do the same. Thank you Pip, you have truly helped me with ‘all manner of things.’"
Professor Brad Aisbett, Head of School, School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences, Deakin University (Number One Sport Science School & Department in the World: 2021 Academic Ranking of World Universities, ARWU). |
"Whenever I speak to Pippa, I get a new sense of clarity about my situation and what I can do about it. Most importantly, over the years we have been working together, Pippa has helped me see who I really am. In turn, that has helped me be the person I am.
Even when there are still things around about my situation that are challenging, Pippa’s wisdom helps me see it for what it is. I have benefitted enormously from Pippa’s penetrating insights and could not recommend her enough, especially given her warm personality and human touch." Professor Corinna Hawkes, Director, Division of Food Systems and Food Safety, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Rome. |
Pippa is not like other mentors, coaches, facilitators, or confidantes that I have worked with, and she is all these things and more. My personal experience in working with Pippa as my own coach and mentor has been to expect a subtly powerful process of self-exploration and growth painlessly delivered in a calm and caring conversation, or through the sharing of thought-provoking resources.
The depth and impact of our interactions can be deceptive. I have sometimes left a conversation with Pippa thinking “that was interesting” only to discover a week or so later (after subconsciously exploring behind the door of insight that she had quietly opened during that chat) that I had profoundly shifted in my understanding or response to an event or relationship in my professional life. In my long-term collaborations with Pippa, she is a companion and empath… making leadership roles that are often very isolating by their nature a shared experience. That helps in times of challenge, and in good times it gives me someone who really understands the context and the achievement with whom to share and celebrate.’" |
